Unlike the urbanite sleek finished Slaoui tagine, the Beldi (or folk) tagine comes finished with a distressed look and a semi-smooth glaze. It is easy to use, clean, and maintain. The inside of the lid is glazed. The unique design allows for flavor trapping after each use.
This tagine needs to be seasoned before first use. This process ensure long life and strength and adds a typical tagine flavor to your cooking. It?can be used on stove top (up to low-med heat) as well as in the oven (up to 350F).
This tagine is FoodSafe! This tagine is DishwasherSafe!
